This is a Fragments. It is dated late 17th century and we acquired it in 1972. Its medium is silk, metallic thread and its technique is damassé (8-harness satin and plain weave (doubled warps and wefts) plus discontinuous supplementary weft floats. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was bequest of Estate of Julian Clarence Levi.
