Tray (Plateau) Tray

This is a Tray. It was painted by Laura Eckroth Lake and manufactured by Charles Field Haviland. It is dated ca. 1894 and we acquired it in 1970. Its medium is hard paste porcelain, vitreous enamel, gold. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Its dimensions are

H x W x D: 2.4 x 33 x 33 cm (15/16 in. x 13 in. x 13 in.)

Underside: [1] "LEL" (?) above "1894", painted in red (painter's mark) [2] "CFH / GDA" above "FRANCE" separated by horizontal line, printed in green (manufactory mark?) [3] "T", written in green on rectangular label
