This is a cup. It was manufactured by Minton Ceramics Manufactory. It is dated early 19th century and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is porcelain (probably bone china), vitreous enamel, gold. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Its dimensions are

H x W x D: 5.6 × 10.4 × 8.5 cm (2 3/16 × 4 1/8 × 3 3/8 in.)

It has the following markings

Underside: [1] two crossed lines with "M" and "619" beneath, painted in blue overglaze (Minton Ceramics Manufactory mark and pattern number)
