Vase (Japan)
This is a vase. It is dated ca. 1870–80 and we acquired it in 1966. Its medium is enamel on copper, nickel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
This vase depicts flying cranes, the Japanese symbol for longevity.
