Drawing, Stage Design: Prologue Backdrop, for "Checkmate"
A rectangular stage design showing two disembodied hands and forearms, one dark blue-gray, and one white, floating horizontally in a blue and black sky. A series of black and yellow lines connect the two arms, each terminating at a black dot on the hands and arms. When connected, the black lines form a diamond and a triangle together. There is a small white star just off the white forearm. At center right is a small white and yellow diamond, which is mirrored by a larger black and grey diamond at the bottom right, which has wavy white lines coming off it. The work is signed by the artist in the bottom right. At the top center of the piece the word [TOP] is written in graphite pencil.
