Skirt Panel (possibly France)

This is a Skirt panel. It is dated 1850–1900 and we acquired it in 1962. Its medium is silk and its technique is voided supplementary warp pile (velvet) in satin ground with cut and uncut pile. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Alan L. Wolfe. It is credited Gift of Alan L. Wolfe.
