Verrière, 1770

This is a Verrière. It was manufactured by Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory. It is dated 1770 and we acquired it in 1962. Its medium is soft-paste porcelain with overglaze enameling and gilding. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Overglaze interlaced L’s, with date letter R and unidentified painter’s mark.
