Overdoor, Die Moritat (The Murderer's Deed)

We have 2 images of Overdoor, Die Moritat (The Murderer's Deed) .

Grayscale of black, white, and shades of grayish-green print of three figures in an outdoor fenced area, flanked by tall bushes of flowers, small leafed plants in the foreground, trees in the background behind the fence. Left figure appears to be a well-dressed man with shoulder length wavy hair white tunic, black belt cinched in the middle, ribbon tie, black trousers, black shiny shoes. Holding upright, in the left hand, a standard displaying a horizontal banner with quadrant of four scenes from a murder: two physical attacks or altercations, an individual standing and another on a horse. In the right hand the figure holds a long thin wand to point at details in the images to the two female-appearing pupils to the right: the back of a young girl with loose curls wearing a full skirt with puffed sleeves and a taller older woman wearing a similar dress and braided updo with left arm wrapped around the girl's waist. They both seem intrigued by the story as they each have extended arms pointing at the banner.
