Sampler (USA)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Susanna Meck. It is dated 1827 and we acquired it in 1941. Its medium is cotton embroidery on linen ground and its technique is embroidered in cross stitch on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.
