Fragment Of Paracas Mantle (Peru)

This is a Fragment of Paracas mantle. It is dated 300–100 BC and we acquired it in 1938. Its medium is cotton, wool and its technique is embroidered on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.
