Print, LE PONT NÔTRE DAME

Lettered in plate, lower center: LE PONT NÔTRE DAME fut commencé l’An 1507 et achevé peu de tems après sur le dessein et par la conduit de Jean Jocondus Cordelier Veronnois celebre Architecte./ Il est bâti fort solidement d’une pierre tres dure, et chargé de 68 maisons qui furent embellies de quelques ornemens pour l’Entrée de la Reine épouse de LOUIS LE GRAND./ LE QUAY PELLETIER, qui fut ouvert l’An 1675 à la place des maisons des Tanneurs et des Teinturiers, est un des plus utiles ouvrages de la Ville de Paris pour/ l’Issüe du Pont Nôtre Dame et de la Place de Greve. La Banquette pour les Gens de pied est suspendüe sur une portion de Voute qui va terminer dans la premiere/ Arche de ce Pont par une grande Trompe appareillée avec beaucoup d’artifice./ lettered lower left: 1.
