Lettered in plate, lower center: LE BASSIN DE L’ISLE D’AMOUR, où L’ISLE ROYALE est en forme de Canal au milieu duquel est une l’sle environnée de 80 jets d’Eau qui jallissant de tous côtez n’empes/ chent pas qu’on ne s’y promene sans estre moüillé. Il est a main gauche au dessous du Labyrinte; il a 1 toise de profondeur et 20 de longeur sans conter la piece d’Eau ou-/ Cascades qui Sont au bout qui s’achevent en cette presente année 1681.
