Print, LE BASSIN D’APOLLON

Lettered in plate, lower center: LE BASSIN D’APOLLON est scitué audessous de l’allée Royalle qui regarde l’appartement du Roy sa figure est octogone de 36 pieds de large et dans son milieu Appollon est representé dans son/ char de Triomphe tiré par 4 cheveaux de metail à ses costez sont les figures des 4 vents qui soufflant à pleines toues dans leurs conques iettent en mesme tems l’eau de tous costez sur la mesme ligne on decouvre la grand/ Piece d’eau ou Canal de 750 thoises de long, sur 40 de large et 7 pieds de profondeur la Croisée qui ua dela Menagerie à Trianon à 450 thoises de longeur.
