Inscribed in graphite, lower margin: warm puls[?] / 6 - glow on this side water silver grey / 2 - warm reddish faintly light green sky / 3 - delicious glowing neutral shadow warm / fading into steel blue / 4 - splendid orange and rosy cirri banked by[?] / 5 - wonderful blue grading d[?] into / greenish smoky towards the west / heavier / 5 - broken up with lines and mottled; additional figure notations throughout.
