Portrait Medallion of Louis XVIII Portrait Medallion, ca. 1815

This is a Portrait medallion. It was created by Jean Charles and Alexandre Brachard and possibly by Alexandre Brachard and manufactured by Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory and subject: Louis XVIII, King of France. It is dated ca. 1815 and we acquired it in 1903. Its medium is biscuit (possibly soft paste). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Samuel P. Avery. It is credited Gift of Samuel P. Avery.
