Shimmer Side Table, Model SH101 Side Table

This is a side table. It was designed by Patricia Urquiola and manufactured by Glas Italia. It is dated 2014 and we acquired it in 2022. Its medium is laminated plate glass. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This table is constructed from laminated glass panels with a special iridescent multi-chromatic finish. The color of this nuanced finish varies with the angle of the light source and the vantage point of the viewer, accentuating the optical qualities of the material.

This object was donated by Glas Italia. It is credited Gift of Glas Italia.
