Caracci is facing front and looking slightly toward his right. He has short cropped hair. Caracci's ears are slightly protruding from his head. He has slightly thick eyebrows and well defined eyes, nose and lips. He is wearing elegant clothing which is seen by the ruffled collar in the print. Below the frame there are the artist's signature on the left and right sides. At the bottom center of the print, there is text that reads as follows: Portrait of An.Caracci In His Majesty's Collection. Below the text there is more text but it is unreadable due to the size of the print.
