Backgrounds graphics, characters, outlines, and minimal color fills are accomplished with peach, light blue, tan and black colors. Fills are very lightly etched in. The top left corner is a scene features a smiling poodle with the traditional puffy cut sitting in a hair salon dryer chair with a hair net under dryer, while its front right paw nails are being filed a salon professional poodle with a similar grooming style. Salon background and tools are seen in the background. This scene is cut off in the top left corner but the missing section is visible in a different section of the wallpaper sheet. Top right scene, cut off at the top as well, features two standard female poodles sitting in front of a tan three-fold room divider. Pink poodle on the right is washing clothes in a basin while the poodle on the left holds a long pink brush. The foreground features large bottles of perfumes. In the row below, off-center is the third scene featuring a taller poodle trying on clothes in front of a mirror, in a large changing room style setting. She is wearing an over-the-top hat and a fancy dress. Behind her is a shorter poodle, in a maid's outfit holding a large fur stole. They are standing underneath a brown curtain. In the foreground is a table with an open hat box and gloves. Two closed clothing boxes are stacked in front of the mirror on the left. This scene is cut off at the mirror and continued to appear on the right side of the row. To the right of this is the fourth scene, featuring a poodle couple, arm in arm, looking at each other in the eyes, as they walk out onto the town. The male poodle wears a top had, bowtie, broach and is carrying a fancy cane. The female poodle wears her fancy outfit and hat from the previous scene and is also wearing the fur stole. Behind them in the background is an awning with trees below. The awning reads 'CLUB SHIEK' in capital letters with the building number listed below. Underneath the awning is a overweight doorman dog, with one eye visible and the other covered in fur, wearing a coat with tasseled shoulder pads and large front buttons. These patterns repeat 2 times in 4 rows.
